I am a freelance print, online and television journalist. Today, from Central Africa, I am mainly reporting for German speaking media with the capability to also write in French and English.

I worked for many years for the German public television. I have a strong background in TV production and realize film projects from the initial idea and research to interviews and finally production and post-production. As a television journalist I have worked for a variety of programs and know how to tell stories in different formats: from short news to portraits to documentaries. In my current work, reporting from Africa, I cover a wide range of topics e.g. culture, social issues, women empowerment and politics.

I have an academic background in journalism and sociology at the University of Leipzig, Germany, and graduated from the renowned institute for journalism in 2007.
