Rwanda’s legal framework outlines the rights of people with disabilities, but in everyday life, especially in rural areas, life as child with a disability is not easy. When Theogene Hakizimana became disabled at the age of 8, he dropped out of school and was forced to live on the streets. But his life soon changed.
